About Us
Dr. Leslie M. Graham is the head instructor at this location and teaches the curriculum of won hop loong chuan and the tai chi form on Saturday mornings. Dr. Graham has trained with Sigung A.F. Walker in the Taoist Wu Jia form of Tai Chi Chuan and in the art of won hop loong chuan for over 25 years. During this time, she has published many articles on the art in a variety of commercial martial arts magazines. (For a full list, please refer to www.tcmspecialists.com).
Dr. Graham is also an adjunct faculty member at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and runs a practice in the Clear Lake area of Houston, Texas. She is licensed by the Texas Medical Board in Acupuncture, certified by the National Acupuncture Certification Board (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Biomedicine. She is also a licensed Chiropractor and is a member of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. (For more information please check out her website at www.tcmspecialists.com).
Other Instructors vary from night to night (please see below), but the classes are always led by a black belt with teaching experience and a ranking of 2nd dan or higher in won hop loong chuan. Sensei instructors may include whlc course material while those not listed as sensei will only be teaching material included in the pyong hwa do curriculum.
Wu Jia Tai Chi Chuan We teach the Taoist versions of the Wu Tai Chi Form including the short form, long form, sword form and the short circle form. Classes at this time are geared for the Wu short form.
Pyong Hwa Do This art form is the gateway into the art of Won Hop Loong Chuan and it prepares the student for the more vigorous workouts that will be encountered down the road. PHD consists of I pattern and Okinawan forms that will take the student up to 1st degree black belt. At that time, they may be selected to move into the art of WHLC.
Won Hop Loong Chuan This art has been handed down for many generations as a family art and is taught to those deemed worthy of learning the techniques and dances (kata). The art contains over 350 forms and includes the 5 Animals Insect, Dragon, Bird, Tiger & Snake.

  • Mon: 6:30 - 8:00 PM (Pyong Hwa Do, with Sensei Alex and Sensei Hector)
  • Thu: 7:00 9:00 PM (Won Hop Loong Chuan, with Sensei Leslie)
  • Sat: 9:00 - 10:00 AM (Pyong Hwa Do, with Sempai Scott)
  • Sat: 10:00 10:40 AM (Tai Chi, with Sensei Leslie)
  • Sat: 11:00 AM 12:00 PM (Won Hop Loong Chuan, with Sensei Leslie)
  • Sat: afternoon (Won Hop Loong Chuan 3rd Degree and above, with Sensei Leslie)
